This Feeding Guide is just a guideline. Every cat is different based on their activity level, age, and breed. You should adjust the amount of food accordingly to reach your cat's ideal weight.

If you are not sure how much to feed, please consult with your veterinarian.

Feeding Guide for Dogs

Feeding Chart for daily amount based on activity level

 Weight, in LB  8 12 16 20
Low Activity Level 4.5 oz 6.5  oz 8 oz 10 oz
Medium Activity Level 5.5 oz 8 oz 10 oz 12 oz
High Activity Level 7 oz 9.5 oz 12 oz 14.5 oz
Very High Activity Level 8.5 oz 12 oz 15 oz 18.5 oz

Suggested feeding twice daily. For example, for a 8 lb "medium activity level" cat, feed 2 3/4 oz twice daily.

Kittens - Nutrition for kittens can be 3 to 4 times more than adult maintenance. It is recommended to feed kittens several times a day, when ever they are hungry and in smaller portions.

Pregnant or Lactating -  Nutrition requirements for pregnant or lactating cats can be 2 times or more than maintenance. Feeding amount may vary based on the number of kittens and lactating stage.
