This is just a guideline. Every cat is different based on their activity level, age, and breed. You should adjust the amount of food accordingly to reach your cat’s ideal weight.

Feeding Chart for daily amount based on activity level

Weight (lbs) 8 12 16 20
Low Activity Level 4 oz 5.5 oz 7 oz 9 oz
Medium Activity Level 5 oz 7 oz 9 oz 11 oz
High Activity Level 6 oz 8.5 oz 10.5 oz 13 oz
Very High Activity Level 7.5 oz 10.5 oz 13.5 oz 16.5 oz

Suggested feeding twice daily. For example, for a 8 lb "medium activity level" cat, feed 2 1/2 oz twice daily.

Kittens - Nutrition for kittens can be 3 to 4 times more than adult maintenance. It is recommended to feed kittens several times a day, when ever they are hungry and in smaller portions.

Pregnant or Lactating - Nutrition requirements for pregnant or lactating cats can be 2 times or more than maintenance. Feeding amount may vary based on the number of kittens and lactating stage.

Please consult your veterinarian if you are not sure how much to feed.

Transitioning to our raw diets:

Transitioning to raw food from any food should be done slowly for their digestive system to adjust and to avoid digestive issue from sudden changes in diet. Here is a guideline you can follow.

Switching Guide

Some cats may not accept the new diet right away and will need a little more help switching. Click here for tips to help you switch your cat to our raw diet.

Safe Handling:

Keep the foods frozen. Thaw them before you serve them. Once thawed, you can keep them refrigerated for 2 to 3 days. Always practice good hygiene when handling raw food, just like when you are preparing dinner for your family with raw chicken or hamburgers. Clean all surfaces and utensils that are used, including your pets’ bowls, once they finish their food. Always wash your hands before and after you handle the raw foods.
